David Bowie was truly an artist's artist, a jack of all trades, a brilliant performer who consistently and successfully advanced his style, as well as international culture. Growing up on MTV in the 80's, Bowie was always present in my world of music and TV, while his mesmerizing performance in Jim Henson's classic film, Labyrinth, was one of my all-time childhood favorites!
